Nerida’s watercolours are centred in and around a delightful

Village in France – St Circ Lapopie. Her paintings are rich in

colour and show an exceptional vibrancy with her depiction of

fabrics.

abstract and semi abstract landscapes centred around

the exploration of colours and their natural antiphony.

Julie Niekamp

Her work is constructed with the traditions of still life,

seemingly in a staged choreographed composition,

an analytical and metaphoric narrative, incorporating found

or sculptured objects with connotations of nostalgia and alter ego.

The circus is the perfect setting and allows her to tell her story

with a myriad of characters and scenarios
