Andrew Sibley is an artist held in very high esteem in the Australian art world.

 

Details of his biographical, exhibitions ,awards and representation in public and private collections is detailed in his book “Andrew Sibley – An Epic of the Everyman” published in 2004.

 

Andrew was born in 1933 , Kent , England and moved to Australia in 1948.

 

He first painted seriously in 1957, opened an art school in 1959 and had his first solo show in 1960, since then he has had at least one and sometimes     2 to 3 solo exhibitions yearly plus many group exhibitions.

 

In addition he has been a finalist  in many of Australia’s major art competitions since the 1960’s
